Blockchain Transformation: How does it affect business and how can consumers get involved now? @ Pico Tower, 66 Gliucester Road, RM 202

The MGSM Hong Kong Alumni Association and University of South Australia MBA Club Alumni, and Macquarie University Alumni of Hong Kong have arranged a business seminar on Blockchain Transformation.

The hype surrounding blockchain and cryptocurrencies has continued to escalate moving further into the later part of 2018. Blockchain, or rather, distributed ledger technology, is going to transform the consumers and businesses, but exactly what this will look like, is still something that splits opinions. One thing for sure is that not all blockchains are made the same.

Join Anson Chan, Chairman & CEO of his family’s multiple billion-dollar real estate development and investment empire, the Bonds Group of Companies, which owns both commercial, retail, hotel and residential properties in prime locations of Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Canada, the USA and the U.K. Mr Chan will tell us how his company is involved in Blockchain.

Our second speaker, Ignious Yong, the Director of Hash Bolt Limited, will inform us on how we can participate in Blockchain as consumers. He will be talking about Crypto mining and how important part of the crypto eco-system. You will find out what is Mining. Why do you want to consider mining? Different ways to get involved. What are the hardware requirements? Is mining still profitable with the crypto price at this level?
